In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

87:1 (Y. Ali) Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High,
87:1 (Picktall) Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High,

87:2 (Y. Ali) Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion;
87:2 (Picktall) Who createth, then disposeth;

87:3 (Y. Ali) Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance;
87:3 (Picktall) Who measureth, then guideth;

87:7 (Y. Ali) Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden.
87:7 (Picktall) Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden;

87:8 (Y. Ali) And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path).
87:8 (Picktall) And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease.

87:9 (Picktall) Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder.

87:10 (Picktall) He will heed who feareth,

87:11 (Y. Ali) But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones,
87:11 (Picktall) But the most hapless will flout it,

87:12 (Y. Ali) Who will enter the Great Fire,
