96:1 (Y. Ali) Proclaim! (or read!) in the name of thy Lord and Cherisher, Who created-
96:1 (Picktall) Read: In the name of thy Lord who createth,Tafseer Ibn Kasir
96:2 (Y. Ali) Created man, out of a (mere) clot of congealed blood:
96:2 (Picktall) Createth man from a clot.Tafseer Ibn Kasir
96:3 (Y. Ali) Proclaim! And thy Lord is Most Bountiful,-
96:3 (Picktall) Read: And thy Lord is the Most Bounteous,Tafseer Ibn Kasir
96:4 (Y. Ali) He Who taught (the use of) the pen,-

96:13 (Y. Ali) Seest thou if he denies (Truth) and turns away?

96:15 (Y. Ali) Let him beware! If he desist not, We will drag him by the forelock,-

96:17 (Y. Ali) Then, let him call (for help) to his council (of comrades):
